Em comunicado enviado ao <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">EOL<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">, a associa\u00e7\u00e3o ambientalista alerta para o potencial impacto cumulativo dos dois projetos j\u00e1 aprovados no territ\u00f3rio.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #282828;\"><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">O novo data center, classificado como <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Projeto de Interesse Nacional (PIN)<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">, prev\u00ea uma \u00e1rea de implanta\u00e7\u00e3o de <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">151 mil m\u00b2<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> e <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">287 mil m\u00b2<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> de constru\u00e7\u00e3o, junto \u00e0 rotunda de Alvega, com liga\u00e7\u00e3o el\u00e9trica anunciada de <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">200 MVA<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> ao futuro posto de corte do Pego. A Quercus considera que o empreendimento \u00e9 \u201cexcessivo para o territ\u00f3rio que pretende ocupar\u201d, defendendo a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de um <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Estudo de Impacte Ambiental (EIA)<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> antes de qualquer licenciamento.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #282828;\"><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">A associa\u00e7\u00e3o recorda que Abrantes tem j\u00e1 aprovado outro centro de dados de grande dimens\u00e3o, promovido pela <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">EDC ONE<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">, previsto para os terrenos da antiga central termoel\u00e9trica do Pego. Este projeto, aprovado em setembro de 2025 ao abrigo de um <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Projeto de Interesse Municipal (PIM)<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">, recebeu <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">isen\u00e7\u00f5es fiscais de 16,2 milh\u00f5es de euros<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #282828;\"><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Segundo a Quercus, a coexist\u00eancia de dois empreendimentos desta escala, ambos dependentes do ponto de liga\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 rede na Central do Pego, levanta quest\u00f5es sobre <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">impactes cumulativos<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> ao n\u00edvel do consumo energ\u00e9tico, press\u00e3o sobre recursos naturais, solos agr\u00edcolas e florestais, e altera\u00e7\u00e3o da paisagem, que \u201cn\u00e3o est\u00e3o a ser avaliados de forma integrada\u201d.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"western\"><strong><span style=\"color: #282828;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Consumo energ\u00e9tico poder\u00e1 ultrapassar v\u00e1rias vezes o consumo anual do concelho<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #282828;\"><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">A associa\u00e7\u00e3o destaca que os valores anunciados \u2014 <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">20 MW<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> para o centro de Alvega e <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">300 MW<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> para o EDC ONE \u2014 representam a pot\u00eancia m\u00e1xima instalada. Mesmo considerando apenas <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">30% de utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o m\u00e9dia<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">, o consumo conjunto poder\u00e1 atingir <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">841 GWh\/ano<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">, cerca de <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">5,7 vezes<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> o consumo anual de eletricidade do concelho de Abrantes em 2024 (<\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">148,8 GWh<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">). \u00c0 plena capacidade, o consumo poder\u00e1 chegar a <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">2,8 TWh\/ano<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">, valor equivalente a <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">19 vezes<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> o consumo anual atual do concelho.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #282828;\"><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">A Quercus sublinha ainda que estes projetos surgem num contexto de <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">escassez h\u00eddrica<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> na Bacia do Tejo, lembrando que o diagn\u00f3stico mais recente da APA para o 4.\u00ba ciclo (2028\u20112033) aponta para um \u00edndice WEI+ de <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">40%<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> no rio Tejo. A associa\u00e7\u00e3o considera que a instala\u00e7\u00e3o de mais uma infraestrutura industrial de consumo intensivo de \u00e1gua deve ser analisada com especial cautela.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"western\"><strong><span style=\"color: #282828;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Cr\u00edticas ao Plano Nacional de Centros de Dados<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #282828;\"><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">A Quercus afirma tamb\u00e9m que o <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Plano Nacional de Centros de Dados (PNCD)<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> apresenta uma vis\u00e3o \u201cdemasiado otimista\u201d, descurando riscos e salvaguardas que \u201cn\u00e3o sa\u00edram do papel\u201d, apesar do crescimento acelerado deste tipo de projetos no pa\u00eds.
