A opera\u00e7\u00e3o decorre sobretudo no campo militar de <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Santa Margarida<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">, envolvendo treino operacional e t\u00e1tico em cen\u00e1rios de Field Training Exercise (FTX) e Command Post Exercise\/Computer Assisted Exercise (CPX\/CAX).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">O exerc\u00edcio treina o <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Battlegroup Europeu 25\u20112\/26\u20111 (EUBG 25\u20112\/26\u20111)<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> no planeamento e condu\u00e7\u00e3o de uma opera\u00e7\u00e3o de gest\u00e3o de crises da Uni\u00e3o Europeia, enquanto a <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Brigada de Interven\u00e7\u00e3o<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> \u00e9 preparada para uma opera\u00e7\u00e3o enquadrada no Artigo 5.\u00ba da NATO. O EUBG \u00e9 uma for\u00e7a multinacional de rea\u00e7\u00e3o r\u00e1pida da Uni\u00e3o Europeia, composta por cerca de <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">2.200 militares<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> de Portugal, Fran\u00e7a, It\u00e1lia, Rom\u00e9nia e Espanha, e comandada por um oficial general portugu\u00eas, o comandante da Brigada Mecanizada de Santa Margarida.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">No \u00e2mbito do ORION 26, ser\u00e1 tamb\u00e9m certificada a <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Companhia de Atiradores da Zona Militar da Madeira<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">, com 120 militares, que integrar\u00e1 o EUBG 26\u20112\/27\u20111. Esta certifica\u00e7\u00e3o refor\u00e7a a prontid\u00e3o, a interoperabilidade e a capacidade de proje\u00e7\u00e3o das for\u00e7as portuguesas em contextos multinacionais.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">No total, o exerc\u00edcio envolve mais de <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">1.300 militares<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> dos cinco pa\u00edses participantes.
