A distin\u00e7\u00e3o reconhece o contributo prestado ao longo dos seus mandatos em prol dos antigos combatentes do concelho.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #080809;\"><span style=\"font-family: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Fernando Freire exerceu fun\u00e7\u00f5es aut\u00e1rquicas entre <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">2013 e 2025<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">, per\u00edodo durante o qual manteve uma colabora\u00e7\u00e3o estreita com a Liga dos Combatentes, apoiando iniciativas sociais, c\u00edvicas e comemorativas dirigidas aos ex\u2011combatentes e \u00e0s suas fam\u00edlias.
