dia 31 de julho de 1992, ap\u00f3s reuni\u00e3o efetuada na C\u00e2mara Municipal do Entroncamento, com o Presidente da C\u00e2mara, Jos\u00e9 Pereira da Cunha e o Comandante dos Bombeiros Volunt\u00e1rios do Entroncamento, Artur Morga.<\/p>\n<p>Inicialmente o SMPC do Entroncamento funcionou em instala\u00e7\u00f5es provis\u00f3rias, num gabinete no quartel dos Bombeiros Volunt\u00e1rios do Entroncamento, tendo sido adquirido algum mobili\u00e1rio e equipamento e tendo a Delega\u00e7\u00e3o Distrital da Prote\u00e7\u00e3o Civil de Santar\u00e9m colaborado com a ced\u00eancia de um equipamento r\u00e1dio de comunica\u00e7\u00f5es da Prote\u00e7\u00e3o Civil.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 data existiam no distrito Santar\u00e9m somente dois Servi\u00e7os Prote\u00e7\u00e3o Civil Municipais, pelo que o Entroncamento foi o terceiro servi\u00e7o municipal a ser formado.<\/p>\n\r\n                <style type=\"text\/css\">\r\n                    \r\n                  <\/div>\r\n\r\n                <\/div>\r\n                \n<p>Os anos passaram, v\u00e1rios cen\u00e1rios de acidentes, inunda\u00e7\u00f5es, inc\u00eandios, etc. se sucederam e as necessidades de aumentar e dinamizar estes servi\u00e7os se impuseram, pelo que a 25 de julho de 1998 \u00e9 inaugurado o Gabinete Municipal de Prote\u00e7\u00e3o Civil, em instala\u00e7\u00f5es pr\u00f3prias, atualmente a funcionar na Rua Afonso Albuquerque. A inaugura\u00e7\u00e3o contou com a presen\u00e7a do Governador Civil, Carlos Cunha, do Delegado Distrital de Prote\u00e7\u00e3o Civil, Raul Violante, do Presidente da C\u00e2mara Municipal Entroncamento, Jos\u00e9 Pereira da Cunha e vereadores, do Presidente e elementos da Assembleia Municipal, comandantes da PSP, GNR e EPSM-BSM, comandantes dos corpos Bombeiros da Barquinha, Goleg\u00e3, Torres Novas e Abrantes.
